Connect the forestry sector to technologies !
We are specialised in forestry software creation. Our mission is to provide technological answers to the different forestry actors in order to better equip them in the face of future environmental issues.
Timbtrack federates solutions around a single platform to develop services such as IoT inventories, satellite data, traceability, local forest enhancement, dedicated equipment and more.

SWIFTT project
Satellites for Wilderness Inspection and Forest Threat Tracking
Because forests are vulnerable to sudden changes such as insect outbreaks, wildfires and windthrow, countless habitats are at risk of loss and CO2 sequestration decreases yearly by billions of tons. Getting a more rapid warning and understanding of the occurrences of threats can save thousands of ha per year. It can provide the European forest with tools to combat climate changes and preserve its biodiversity. As a result, a consortium was created to provide an innovative solution by creating an automatised system based on satellite surveillance that will provide warning and understanding on the increasingly intensifying risks: insects breeding more frequently, wildfire occurrences and storms becoming more severe and frequent.
8 companies and researchers around Europe, including Timbtrack, are working together to achieve this goal on a 3 years project and test it in various part of the continent.
